It is thanks to UNITRAIL’s vision of expansion, a utility trailer and equipment wholesaler, that TRAILGO saw the day.
By establishing a network of retailers across Quebec and Ontario UNITRAIL, a family business that debuted in 1995, was able to establish itself has a leader in Eastern Canada utility trailer market . Despite that fact UNITRAIL was unable to establish a retailer that could support the demand in its own region of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
Having acquired a great deal of expertise and know-how for nearly 15 years and with a strategic location close to Highway 40 and Highway 20, on the axis of Highway 30, UNITRAIL decided to expand its activities by inaugurating a division strictly dedicated to retail , within its 250,000 sq.ft. facilities . TRAILGO was therefore founded in 2009. This new division was to meet the growing demand in Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
Benefiting from the purchasing power of its parent company, TRAILGO maintains one of the largest inventories of trailers in Quebec, with more than 700 units in peak season. Customers are welcome to come in person to look at and compare the different models and sometimes even leave the same day with a brand new trailer!
Since 2009 several departments were added including: the sale of parts and accessories, service department (repair and maintenance), hitch installation , a tire center, trailer rental and rust-proofing service.
Today TRAILGO has become the most important utility trailer retailer West of Montreal even stretching it’s activities to Ontario. It offers a full range of specialized trailers from 900 to 40 000 lbs, snow removal equipment such as snow plows and spreaders as well as truck inserts, tilting platforms and sled deck for pick-up trucks.
